Public Display: Approved profiles display only the inmate’s first name, last initial, state, age, and approved bio/photo (e.g., “Jane D., 28, California”) to protect privacy.
7. Correspondence Guidelines
Secure Messaging: Use our secure messaging system for digital correspondence, which is monitored for safety and compliance.
Traditional Mail: For physical mail, use the verified facility address provided in the inmate’s profile. You are responsible for complying with the facility’s mail regulations.
Content Restrictions: Do not send messages or materials that are illegal, threatening, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate. We may review and remove content that violates these Terms.
No Guarantee of Response: MailInTheCell.com facilitates connections but does not guarantee responses from inmates or pen pals.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on MailInTheCell.com, including text, logos, and website design, is owned by or licensed to us and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify our content without prior written permission.
